Where Has The Party Gone?

I was "informed" recently that I haven't been writing here as much as I used to.

I think that person needs to get their own blog, and see how often inspiration strikes them to write something insightful.  (and I'm desperate for a nap, so that may have come off as being ever-so-slightly full of attitude.)

Honestly, the past year took such a crazy 180-degree turn for me...

I would love to write daily - or maybe every other day - on the new genealogical discoveries I make every day, the new ancestors I locate, the fascinating lives they lead.

But I haven't really made any, there aren't any to be found as of recently, and I have yet to find anything fascinating about farmers in Ohio.  And on top of that...my life went into turbo mode with fighting my butt off for my kids to get a quality public education.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that I've been watching an infant 5x a week since October?

Genealogy or anything insightful has been put on the back burner in place of RaceToTheTop (crap), Common Core (crap)...and, well, baby (crap) - literally!

So if you're thinking of "un"following me because there's just nothing good here anymore, please be patient with me.  I have ideas floating around in my head.  Unfortunately by the time I have the time to sit and put the coherent thoughts together...they've all turned to mush.

I'll be back...sooner than later...promise!
